In the first instance, these signs have a literal meaning and deal with one of the main rules of circulation, whether walking, cycling or driving, you always have to go to the right; the biopolitics that implies delimiting how bodies have to move. But at the same time, it alludes to a political spectra of the left and the right. Is staying on the right going slow? Is the left going fast? What does it mean to move forward? Where? This piece was made in 2018, months before the most important presidential election in the country’s recent history, in which the leftist candidate won by an absolute majority.
